As an editor I enjoy receiving video footage from a client and taking the raw footage and turning it into an entertaining piece of content. Here's a clip edited for Peace.Love.Style blog!
Ray Roman 360° Tabata WOD
Checkout this 360 degree video I recorded, edited, and of course worked out in. It was tough to do all of these back to back with a 5 minute break in-between. I was gassed but in order to be able to capture all angles it had to be done. Due to the current state of technology the 360° video will only be viewable on select desktop browsers and devices.
Ray Roman 20RM Deadlift Attempt at 255lbs
This is my 20 rep max attempt for the challenge Noah Ohlsen @nohlsen put on Instagram (3/23/15) for the heaviest 20RM deadlift. After warming up and getting close to a one-rep max, I went back down to 255lbs., an amount I thought I might be able to get 20 reps out of but I fell short at 14. I gave it another shot but unfortunately got 6 reps on my second try! This was a fun challenge though because it so happened to be on a day I was deadlifting!
Ray Roman (11/16/14 Sunday Funday)
Ray Roman - Thruster WOD (10/23/14)
This WOD was inspired by Pat Barber and Wes Piatt from a video of their workout posted on CrossFit.com | Checkout that video at http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BiyrDMhszUc
Below is the instructions for the WOD:
With a continuously running clock complete 5 thrusters every minute.
From 0:00-5:00 use 75lbs.
From 5:00-10:00 use 95lbs.
From 10:00-15:00 use 115lbs.
Continue adding 20lbs. every 5 minutes for as long as you are able.
I completed 75 total thrusters in 15 minutes. This was fun, I look forward to doing it again in the future!
Ray Roman (10/21/14 Snatch Practice)
Practicing the snatch at a light weight of 90lbs tonight. I need to work on this some more!
Ray Roman "0 to 100" Failed (10/15/14 Deadlift)
Working on a 1 rep max deadlift tonight. 405lbs is my 1 rep max deadlift as of September 2014. It's crazy what a difference 5lbs can be! Tonight I failed but it's all a part of the process, or should I say progress?
Ray Roman (10/12/14 Sunday WOD)
I’ve been doing this workout in variation 3 times now over the past 2 months. My last time was 12:43. This time I got 12:18 — a little bit faster but I was completely out of gas by the 2nd round. I skipped breakfast and did this WOD right in the middle of the day -- I'm thinking the empty stomach, and 80 degree weather might have been the problem! Trying to get under 10 minutes on this at some point. Until next time…
2 Rounds For Time (my time was 12:18):
1st round - 20 kettlebell swings (35lbs), 40ft dumbbell lunges (35lbs), 20 box jumps at 24”, 20 clean and jerks (135lbs).
2nd round - 10 kettlebell swings (50lbs), 40ft dumbbell lunges (50lbs), 10 box jumps at 24”, 10 clean and jerks (150lbs).

Fuel For Fire
It's all about Fuel For Fire for pre/post workout fuel! Enjoyed this sample from the 2014 CrossFit Games so much I decided to make a video about it!
