When I was 7 years old I used to wake up early Saturday mornings and listen to the Rick Dees Weekly Top 40 or as I remember it "Rick Dees in the morning". All my favorite songs from the radio played at this time, so I was able to record my particular favorites onto a cassette tape or in hindsight creating my own mixtapes.
Like all kids, I was into many things but for the most part it was the NFL and the 'World Wrestling Federation' that fascinated me. By taking the mixtape idea, I realized I could do the same thing with a VHS tape and record my favorite TV Shows.
Around the age of 10 my best friend got a video camera. Somehow he figured out that if you connect the video camera to the VCR, you could rearrange your video footage and make a copy onto another VHS-C tape. This is where my interest in video editing began.
By the age of 13 I got my first digital video camera and began editing on Ulead Video Studio. As the years went on I learned how to edit in Pinnacle Studio, Adobe Premiere 6.5, Final Cut Pro and AVID.
Filmmaking began for me as a hobby, and ever since it has grown into an obsession. I'm certified in Digital Video and continue to expand my knowledge in Video Production through my years of experience.
