Checkout this 360 degree video I recorded, edited, and of course worked out in. It was tough to do all of these back to back with a 5 minute break in-between. I was gassed but in order to be able to capture all angles it had to be done. Due to the current state of technology the 360° video will only be viewable on select desktop browsers and devices.
Testing out the Ricoh Theta M15 360 Degree Spherical Panorama Camera on a jog with my parents on their 29th Anniversary. Finally testing out the 360 video and using a mini-tripod as a "selfie stick".
Attempting to split jerk 225lbs for the first time. When performing the clean I need to work on getting under the bar more and do less pulling with my arms. I felt like I was almost able to get the bar up into the split jerk position but fell short on my attempts.
This WOD was inspired by Pat Barber and Wes Piatt from a video of their workout posted on CrossFit.com | Checkout that video at http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BiyrDMhszUc
Below is the instructions for the WOD:
With a continuously running clock complete 5 thrusters every minute.
From 0:00-5:00 use 75lbs.
From 5:00-10:00 use 95lbs.
From 10:00-15:00 use 115lbs.
Continue adding 20lbs. every 5 minutes for as long as you are able.
I completed 75 total thrusters in 15 minutes. This was fun, I look forward to doing it again in the future!
Practicing the snatch at a light weight of 90lbs tonight. I need to work on this some more!
I’ve been doing this workout in variation 3 times now over the past 2 months. My last time was 12:43. This time I got 12:18 — a little bit faster but I was completely out of gas by the 2nd round. I skipped breakfast and did this WOD right in the middle of the day -- I'm thinking the empty stomach, and 80 degree weather might have been the problem! Trying to get under 10 minutes on this at some point. Until next time…
2 Rounds For Time (my time was 12:18):
1st round - 20 kettlebell swings (35lbs), 40ft dumbbell lunges (35lbs), 20 box jumps at 24”, 20 clean and jerks (135lbs).
2nd round - 10 kettlebell swings (50lbs), 40ft dumbbell lunges (50lbs), 10 box jumps at 24”, 10 clean and jerks (150lbs).

I love video editing and I enjoy working out daily, so occasionally I put together videos of my workouts on Instagram @RaymondRoman. Creating these quick 15 second videos for Instagram is fun, and also a good way to look back at progress I make overtime. Checkout some of the recent videos below!
