Need some motivation today? Checkout this motivational video I edited. We meant to have this done a couple months back but we've been stacked with various projects. Share this with someone who needs motivation today!
In Week #9 of TBT for 52 Weeks I talk about Fuel For Fire. Do you have a fire inside? Well make something happen!
This is a deadlift progression from my lifts between 2014-2015. The highest I've reached is 405lbs. I've had failed attempts at 410lbs but can't seem to get over that hump!
Checkout this 360 degree video I recorded, edited, and of course worked out in. It was tough to do all of these back to back with a 5 minute break in-between. I was gassed but in order to be able to capture all angles it had to be done. Due to the current state of technology the 360° video will only be viewable on select desktop browsers and devices.
Working up to a 3 rep max deadlift x3.
This is my 20 rep max attempt for the challenge Noah Ohlsen @nohlsen put on Instagram (3/23/15) for the heaviest 20RM deadlift. After warming up and getting close to a one-rep max, I went back down to 255lbs., an amount I thought I might be able to get 20 reps out of but I fell short at 14. I gave it another shot but unfortunately got 6 reps on my second try! This was a fun challenge though because it so happened to be on a day I was deadlifting!
I attempted the 15.4 CrossFit Open Workout today. I did the scaled version of the workout because I can't do hand stand push-ups yet! Here's a little clip I posted to Instagram.
Complete as many rounds and reps as possible in 8 minutes of:
10 push presses
Men push press 95 lb. and clean 115 lb.
Women push press 65 lb. and clean 75 lb.
Total rounds completed: 5
Total reps completed: 100
Finally making some minimal gains on my clean and jerk. I've been stuck for months cleaning at 225lbs and got up to 235lbs today. I probably could've split jerked it, instead of trying to press it. Checkout the clip below that was posted to Instagram.
